Why are you using an Excel spreadsheet which requires downloading and an installation of Excel to use rather than just a link to a shared Google spreadsheet? Primarily, it's because this repository will also act as an archive for the next years, and I was wanting everything in the same place.

The solution was to install git via chocolatey. I realize it's part of Github, so maybe Github could let us pick a mirror? Sourceforge had auto and hand-select mirrors for decades and it works superb. Cause I understand, it might be a temporary peering or routing problem.
