Why cant i download the tor browser?

In Tor Browser it appears that the files are reaching the backend, but are not correctly written to disk. Make sure that any antivirus program you have installed is not preventing Tor from running. You may need to consult the documentation for your antivirus software if you do not know how to do this. Temporarily disable your firewall. If Tor Browser was working before and is not working now your system may have been hibernating. Neither your VPN nor your firewall has anything to do with what happens when you click on magnet links in your browser.

So back to Tor, when I start the download through Tor, I usually close the browser. Then everything is handled through uTorrent. Get a VPN account if you do not wish torrent downloads to be tracked.

I have downloaded the file a few times but upon trying to run the exe I get a message which says that the file is broken. I have tried a number of times now. Also I have had to completely disable my firewall to allow my browser t even navigate to any site to do with the Tor browser.

Not that this was the only site it was not going to, there were lots. What OS are you running? Windows 7 32 bit. And I've tried both Opera browser and Firefox. They both behave the same way.
