Mega file download not finishing

Last week I close my mega account because of this issue. I couldn't try this because the transfer quota is really small these days around 2gb. Someone suggested in that forcing a full scan solves the issue. I don't know if this will work for me because I'm downloading a folder, not syncing.

But I'll try. The 5 stuck files are perfectly downloadable from the MEGA website. The most of it has been downloaded locally but there are some files that cannot be downloaded. Most of the time, it is trying to download and it says "retrying" and sometimes "failed: Temporary not available".

When I go to the log file, I always get the same error: "Transfer failed with error [transfer. What is happening?

Ah, ok, now the problem that I had has been solved. All files have been correctly downloaded. For me the problem is not very big, just annoying.

There were 4 files, that couldn't be synced. Deleting them on the original device and pasting them once again in Sync folder was not helping. After this MegaSync started working fine again. I think the problem was that some of those files were corrupted in some way. Fortunately where files that I didn't needed anymore.

Everytime my download quota reached about 2 GB, Mega will cause my Edge to crash. DzungVu Since it was crashing make sure report it through feedback , however in case you set Windows and Microsoft Edge to send log files, it will also collect and send log files too. The log file will be collected as I config the setting.

DzungVu It is good idea to report all crashes. If you have a broadband connection, and connect to the Internet through a router, the Internet connection may be unstable. Issues with Internet connectivity and the stability of the connection can cause downloads to fail, especially if the Internet connection is interrupted. When an Internet connection is unstable, it may disconnect and reconnect intermittently.

Even a disconnection lasting a fraction of a second can cause the failure of a file download. For users who commonly encounter intermittent connectivity issues or download failure, a download manager may help. A download managers is a third-party application that monitors, and if needed, resumes a download from where it stopped previously.

There are hundreds of download managers, including many that are free. This solution is a bit tricky, in that users shouldn't normally download files without some protection active. If you fully trust the site from which you are downloading the file, you can try disabling the Windows firewall or disabling your antivirus software before attempting again.
